Even in today's high tech world of woodworking, some tried and true techniques are still hard to beat. Introducing the new Woodpecker Story Stick. What's a story stick? It's essentially a yardstick customised to your project with just the marks you need. The Woodpecker Story Stick takes this fundamentally useful tool and brings it into the 21st century. Now you can mark dozens of boards exactly the same. To make it even easier, you won't need your glasses to make an accurate pencil mark, the pencil slots in the steel tabs ensure your marks are dead on.  Like all Measuring products stocked by us these are FULL METRIC VERSIONS.       Each tab is formed with a notched window to maximize alignment accuracy to an engraved linear and centring scale. Drawing straight, accurate lines can be challenging when relying on a tape measure and a scrap of wood as a straight edge.  Now there's a better way, the new Woodpecker T-Square. Whether working off a factory cut edge or not, the Woodpecker T-Square will help you draw straighter, more accurate parallel lines in less time than you can imagine. In an instant, you can move your pencil from 75mm off the edge to 300mm and be dead-on without the need of a tape measure. Each Woodpecker T-Square consists of a precisely machined, laser engraved, aluminium blade perfectly fitted to a solid, billet handle with two support lips to prevent tipping and a perfectly machined edge for true squaring. The two critical parts are secured together with six precision socket screws.  This arrangement delivers top notch performance yet still allows for replacement of damaged blades. The blade itself has precisely spaced 1mm holes drilled every 1mm.  Stick a pencil in the hole, slide it along your work piece and presto, a perfectly spaced line accurately following the stock edge. The outer edges are machined to a 30 degree bevel for easy reading and laser engraved scales for measuring METRIC on the top edge and IMPERIAL on the bottom edge.  But wait...there's more...the smart folk at Woodpeckers have included additional holes at 32mm centres, perfect for setting out shelf pin positions and European style System 32 hardware mounting.                    Special Introductory Price $215.00 save $25.00

Woodpeckers Table Saw Gauge

Woodworkers spend many hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a table saw then spend hundreds more on high quality saw blades and still get burn marks when doing rip cuts. Even getting accurate results with a mitre gauge can be difficult when the blade alignment is off. In most cases this is the result of misalignment between the mitre slot, fence and blade.   Simply set the cradle pin onto the two small pins in the slot   Then set the Saw Gauge onto the cradle pin. You're ready to go. For a perfect cut, the saw blade and rip fence must be dead parallel to the left hand mitre gauge slot. The most reliable and accurate way to do this is with a dial indicator and tool that rides perfectly up and down the mitre slot.   Includes protective wooden storage case. The new Woodpecker Saw Gauge is engineered to expertly satisfy this need. It's the first alignment tool that automatically adjusts to the width of the mitre slot through the use of three precision ground steel pins. Regardless whether the slot is 5/8” (16mm) wide like many older saws, ¾” (19mm) wide like most current models or even somewhat over-sized; this unique arrangement will ensure a perfect fit and smooth travelling up and down the mitre slot. No tools, no adjustments, just instant alignment.   Another exclusive feature is its ability to be set one distance to align the blade then in an instant be reset to a different distance for checking the fence and back to the exact original location for comparison measurements.
