If you're looking for the highest quality router plate money can buy, you found it. The Woodpecker Cast Aluminium Router Plate is stronger, stiffer and less prone to warp or flex then other aluminium, polycarbonate or acrylic router plates. In addition, its durable, low friction anodized coating makes it easier and smoother for wood to glide across. Although this fixture grade material is more expensive, it's numerous advantages make it well worth the few extra dollars for what typically is a one time purchase.   Along with superior materials, each Woodpecker Router Plate features eight top accessible fine pitch levelling screws and two adjustable spring loaded plungers to make it easy to achieve a flush, perfect fit in your router table opening.   With each Cast Aluminium Router Plate, you also receive (3) machined aluminium TwistLOCK Rings, a brass starting pin, spanner wrench and router mounting screws. The ring opening sizes are 1", 1-3/16" and 2-5/8". The router plate itself has a 3-9/16" (90.5mm) opening to fit any commonly available router bit.   Dimensions: 9-1/4 x 11-3/4 x 3/8 thick. If you're doing free hand routing, you know how tricky it can be to start the cut. Router bits tend to spin the board and gouge the wrong edge when you start the cut. This often results in damage to your carefully shaped furniture parts. Starting Pins can help you gain control but don't offer dust collection or protection from flying chips. The new Woodpecker Free-Hand Guard does all these things in a well built, high quality form. The Free-Hand Guard serves three purposes; first it provides a fulcrum to rest your board against, second a dust port for a hose hook up and third a shield to keep chips from flying up into your face. (The shield is not a substitute for safety goggles.)   Our new Free-Hand Guard attaches directly to any Woodpecker Router Plate or Lift and Woodcraft's Pinnacle Router Plate.  Two knobs make it simple and fast to install or remove. It's also adaptable to other brand plates by simply drilling two holes and using the included alternate attachment screws. (Instructions included.) The Free-Hand Guard is made up of a laminated birch base, a Phenolic top plate, an acrylic shield with a combination 2-1/2” – 2-1/4” dust port. Accommodates materials up to 1-1/2” (38mm) in thickness.

INCRA's 10mm solid aluminium mounting plates are the new standard for achieving perfect cutting results at your router table. Precision-machined aircraft grade aluminium and bullet proof hard anodized plating translate to easy glide for your workpiece. While the 10mm thickness is robust enough for the heaviest of routers on the market today.   Ten fine thread plate-levelling screws provide extreme control in leveling the plate to your table and rock solid support at any position around the plate. A simple quarter turn of the corner mounted Cam-Lock fastener securely locks the plate in the router table's recess.  The plates have the same 'footprint' as all our other lifts and plates, making upgrading and interchanging a breeze.    All of INCRA's aluminium mounting plates feature the exclusive Magna-Lock magnetic throat plate system. Changing any of the included throat plates is a snap with the Magna Lock System. Just drop in the selected plate. The high energy, rare-earth magnets hold the plate secure and perfectly flush every time. All of our mounting plates include 3 laser cut steel throat plates with a 1", 2-1/8" and 3-5/8" openings.
