This product can be especially helpful when using routers like the DeWalt 625 which in certain installations has insufficient travel to bring short bits sufficiently above the table. The Xtreme Xtension provides for 25mm of grip range and extends the cutter 32mm and is slightly less than 45mm in diameter. Supplied complete with a ¼” reducing collet bushing and a T Handled ball wrench. This ball wrench allows you to access the locking screw at an angle for speedier bit changes.    Common Sense must be used, as this product is recommended for variable speed routers only!!! Using it with Fixed Speed Routers should be strictly limited to bits of 20mm or less cutting diameter.
